HAND TINTED
The Handtinted & IRIS Gallery include macro images that are a combination of other media. Handtinted photographs start with a black and white image and by the application of oil paint and pencils create a completely different feel than the original black and white. These pieces become one of a kind originals. Images of the southwest and abstract metal are some of my favorite subject matter for this process.The IRIS Giclee prints are computer digitized, scanned and printed on 100% cotton or canvas paper (watercolor paper). This process can be used for most color images, but is especially successful for the macro and handtinted work.
